CELPIP Listening

Time Duration: 47-55 Minutes

In all, there are 38 questions in this section.
There is one Practice Task and six-part as follows:

You will hear three conversations in this part. Each conversation will be followed by 2-3 questions. There are total 8 questions in this section. The first conversation is of around 1 to 1.5 minutes followed by 3 questions. You should pay attention to the conversation because you may be asked questions on the address they are looking for, or sometimes questions on the response of the people who are asked about places, may also be asked.

This part is having only one conversation of around 2 minutes, followed by 5 questions. You are again given 30 seconds to choose the best answer from the given four options. Generally, people share their problems with each other, so pay attention to every detail of the conversation, like what was the conversation was about etc.

In this, a conversation of duration around 2.5 minutes is played, followed by 6 questions. Each question is provided with four options to choose the best one. This part is more of an interview with some expert. Students are asked questions based on the information provided by the expert, whom you will hear during the conversation.

You will hear news item, which is around 1.5 minutes long. Once the conversation is over, 5 questions appear with drop-down menus. Students need to choose the most appropriate option, to complete the statement. Total of 3 minutes time is allocated to answer all the questions.

This a video section where you will watch 2 minutes video conversation. Eight questions appear in this section after the video is over and you are given 4 minutes to answer all these questions.

You will hear 3 minutes long report in this section. Six questions will appear with drop-down menus. Again you will choose the way to complete each statement. In this section report on various issues are heard, you need to focus on the subject of the report and data being provided in the report to answer the answers correctly.
