IELTS Academic and General listening paper

Listening is same for both IELTS academic and general. The listening paper has four parts, 10 questions for each part. The questions are in the same order as the information in the recordings, so that the answer to the first question will be before the answer to the second question and so on. Listening part 1 and 2 deals with the everyday or social situations. In listening part 1, there is a conversation between two speakers but there is only one person in speaking part 2 such as speech. In listening part 3 and 4 deals with educational and training situations. There is a conversation between two main speakers in listening part 3 but in the case of listening part 4. There is only one person speaks about an academic subject such as speech. You will hear the recordings only once in your examination time. There may be different accents such as British, Australian, New Zealand and North American. We will get 10 minutes at the end of the listening test to transfer our answers to the answer sheet. We have to careful about the spelling and grammar otherwise we will lose the marks. We will get approximately 30 minutes for listening and 10 minutes for transferring the answers and each correct answer gives 1 mark there is no negative marks wrong answers.
