Question type 2 – Matching
In matching question type, we have to match a list of items from the recording to a list of options on the question paper. This type of question is used to test the ability of the listening capability for detailed information, follow a conversation between two people and recognise how facts in the recording are connected to each other.
Question type 3 – Plan/Map/Diagram/Labelling
In this type of question, we have to complete labels on a visual which may be a diagram, a set of pictures, a plan or a map. In this type of question, we have to select the answers from a list on the question paper or select words from the recording which fit into gaps on the question paper. In this type of question, we have to keep the word limit given in the instructions and also we do not have to change the words in a recording in anyway. Question type 4 – Form/note/table/flowchart/summary completion
Question type four in which we have to fill in gaps of the recording. In this case we have to select for answers from a list on the question paper then write the correct letter on the answer sheet. Select two words from the recording which fit into gaps on the question paper so that in this case we will need to keep the word limit given in the instructions. Otherwise we will lose the marks.
