FAQ OET

OET has been developed specifically for 12 healthcare professions: Dentistry, Dietetics, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Speech Pathology and Veterinary Science.

The OET test is conducted twice in a given month. Hence, in one calendar year, the OET test is conducted 24 times.

OET is recognised by regulatory healthcare boards and councils in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA, Ireland, Dubai, Singapore, Namibia and Ukraine.

The OET test fee in Indian currency is 36,000(approximately).

Results will be available 16 business days after the test.

Both the IELTS and the OET exams are accepted by the GMC and the NMC, however, OET tests your ability to communicate in English in a healthcare setting, whereas the IELTS tests your overall ability to communicate in the English language.
